Kim is a Vietnamese American Chicago-based visual artist versed in film, photo, motion graphics, and design. She currently works full time as a multimedia specialist in higher ed, and occasionally takes on freelance projects. She has worked on a variety of projects including narrative, commercial, educational, live events, music videos, and documentary.

She holds a MA in Digital Communication & Media Arts from DePaul University and a BA in Film & Video with a concentration in Cinematography from Columbia College Chicago.
